Summary:
An adventurer named Lyra wakes up from unconsciousness on a mind flayer dimension-crossing ship infected with a parasitic tadpole that threatens to transform her into a mind flayer. Alongside several others who have met the same fate, they are forced to go on a quest to find a remedy to prevent ceremorphosis. However, Lyra found herself without her memories and resisting unwanted urges/thoughts, unlike her traveling companions. Missing memories and a lot of questions, with experiences in pain and pleasure.
However, as this story goes on...things might get interesting.

Chapter 6 Summary:
Explosions echo through the ruins as Gale, Shadowheart, and Astarion discover Lyra standing alone amid defeated enemies, battered but unyielding. She faces a final opponent—a powerful, fire-wielding barbarian—and deliberately discards her weapons, choosing close combat. The two clash in a brutal, physical fight, trading heavy blows as fire and force push Lyra to her limits. Despite injuries and exhaustion, she adapts, regains control, and ultimately overpowers him.

In a decisive and unexpected move, Lyra ends the fight with a lethal kiss, releasing a silver vapor that kills him instantly. Though victorious, the toll of battle overwhelms her. Pain crashes over her body, and she collapses as her companions rush to her aid. Beneath the action, her growing connection to violence—and the unsettling satisfaction it brings—becomes more apparent, highlighting her internal struggle against the darker instincts within her.

Chapter 4 Summary:
As night approaches, Lyra splits from the group to scout the wreckage and gather supplies. While searching, she encounters a pale, well-dressed elf who lures her into a trap and pins her at knifepoint, accusing her of working with the mind flayers. Lyra quickly turns the situation around, subduing him, but both are struck by a psychic surge from their parasites, linking their thoughts and revealing shared experiences as victims.

Realizing the truth, the tension dissolves. The elf introduces himself as Astarion, a Baldurian vampire spawn, and the two cautiously lower their guard. They discuss the parasite and its threat, with Astarion considering control while Lyra insists on removal. Despite initial hostility, they agree to work together for survival.

Lyra invites Astarion to join her group, though she warns him of her unstable condition and violent urges. Intrigued rather than deterred, Astarion accepts, seeing value in her strength and unpredictability. The two leave together, forming a tentative alliance built on necessity, curiosity, and mutual danger

Chapter 2 Summary:
Lyra awakens aboard a living nautiloid after being abducted by a mind flayer and implanted with a parasite. Disoriented, amnesiac, and plagued by violent intrusive thoughts, she escapes her pod into a burning, organic ship. She scavenges supplies, interacts with strange biomechanical devices, and resists urges to harm others. She frees an intellect devourer named Us, forming an uneasy alliance, and later encounters a githyanki warrior who reveals the parasite will transform them into mind flayers. Together, they fight through imps and corrupted thralls while navigating the ship.

Lyra accidentally triggers a device that transforms a captive into a mind flayer, deeply shaking her, but redeems herself by rescuing a cleric named Shadowheart. Despite tension between allies, the group pushes toward the helm as the ship is attacked by dragons and githyanki riders. Amid chaos and battle, Lyra connects the transponder, but the ship is critically damaged. As it crashes, she is thrown violently through the helm and loses consciousness, her fate uncertain.
